Following their explosive debut, a-ha sustained their success with albums such as Scoundrel Days (1986) and Stay on These Roads (1988), both of which delivered chart-topping singles and reinforced their status as global pop stars.

As the band matured, their music evolved. Albums like East of the Sun, West of the Moon (1990) and Memorial Beach (1993) showcased a more refined, introspective pop sound, blending sophisticated production with deeper lyrical themes.
